The last game. Fuck.
The game started off with a bang as Kramer got knocked the FUCK OUT by Garay. The German trainers somehow let Kramer back on the field after he went dead-fish on the field, but he had to be withdrawn soon afterwards.
Germany got retribution a little later when Neuer came rushing out for a ball and absolutely demolished the Argentine striker. Somehow this ended up as a foul against Higuain, apparenly for aggressively attacking Neuer's knee with his head.
The game went to overtime and it took until the second period for Germany to finally capitalize on an Argentinean team that looked dead on its feet. Gotze volleyed home a beauty past Romero to all but seal it for the Europeans.
Angela Merkel displayed her no-nonsense style of clapping for the world. No emotion, no pizzaz, just the all-business type of German efficiency you'd expect from the prime minister.
There was still time for Neuer to try some more circus tricks in the box, as apparently he hadn't already given German fans enough heart palpitations throughout the tournament.
Tournaments over, Germany won. I'm going to go drink myself into bolivian. See you in 4 years.
