"I think Brazil is the team with the best defence," Sanchez said.
"They've got great quality in their squad, and I'm really happy we are going to play against Brazil and Neymar.
"My worry is the referee, but we'll see."
Despite his concerns, Sanchez did concede he was thrilled to play the tournament favourites and his Barca team-mates.
"I'm very happy playing against Brazil, I am delighted to play against some of my club team-mates like Neymar and Dani Alves, and I will enjoy this game a lot," he said.
Shots fired! Wait, not really though. Honestly this is a pretty fair reaction from Sanchez. Not only did Brazil benefit from a few dubious calls in their game against Croatia in the opener, but you always have to worry about referees getting intimidated the home crowd at any World Cup. Not exactly easy to make an unpopular decision when you have a hundred thousand angry Brazilians yelling at you and the very real danger of decapitation looming around the corner if they end up losing the game. With all the issues and bad publicity that have been plaguing this World Cup, a missing referee could very easily slip under the radar, so best to stay on your toes as a ref. Or, you know, just ensure that Brazil wins every game so everybody goes home happy alive.
