Salah may have to take a break from football to serve in the Egyptian Military

(Dude, help me out here?)

KingFut - Chelsea midfielder Mohamed Salah could find himself forced to return to Egypt to serve military duty due to a decision made by the Minister of Higher Education to rescind his registration for an education program.

The 22-year-old, who joined one of Egypt’s education institutes in order to obtain the ability to travel abroad, was dealt a blow today after his registration was cancelled by the Minister of Higher Education, possibly forcing him to return to his homeland to serve mandatory military service.

BRUTAL, dude. absolutely BRUTAL. Oh you grew up in a region of political instability and constant danger but worked hard enough your entire life to be a professional soccer player? And now you finally got your dream transfer to one of the biggest teams in the world to play in the biggest league in the world and are making millions of dollars to play the game you love? Well FUCK YOU you're coming back to Egypt to serve in the Military. At least it'll be pretty easy and you can return to London in a jiffy, right? Well, turns out there's major political upheaval and ethnic divisions across the country, so yeah, good luck with that.

This will probably be sorted quickly and Salah will most likely be able to play this coming Fall, but the fact that there was even a chance of this happening is absurd. Having to serve for the Egyptian military right after joining Chelsea in your prime would probably be the single biggest kick in the dick in the entire history of the world.
