Pretty cool to see this kind of excitement for an MLS team. Coming from a region where nobody could really give two shits about our MLS team, it warms the heart to see that there are places who actually care about the league and are genuinely excited to go to games. Kinda crazy it took so long for Florida to get another team since the Mutiny and Fusion folded over 10 years ago. They clearly care more about their soccer down there than they do in half the markets that already have franchises so It can only be good for the league.
As far as Kaka goes, he'll bring people to games and that's what you want from your designated player. He'll provide that little bit of magic to keep people interested, but even with the MLS being several steps below la Liga and Serie A, don't expect him to dominate games in a league based so much off of athleticism. That and old athletes with knee issues don't tend to have glorious resurgences late into their careers.
