Is it what I expected? Absolutely. It was a violent offense and it was his third time doing it, so it needed to be dealt with. I still stand by what I said when I said that I'd rather be bitten than have my leg shattered by a reckless defender, and I think that is a million times worse than a little hickey on your shoulder. My issue isn't with the punishment, its with the outrageous moral indignation put on by ESPN and the rest of the media at large. If Bob Ley isn't wearing all black in mourning for the next two weeks I'll be honestly shocked, the way he's been acting it's like the president was shot. They're full of shit and nobody is calling them on it, and its infuriating. It's Suarez, he's gonna bite people. Is Chiellini seriously injured? No. Will he miss any games because of it? no. Then get the fuck over it, no harm no foul.
